This path is already marked with Success Cases such as the one developed at the Mercedes Benz plant in Vitoria, where in close collaboration with the client and driven by him, we have implemented our asset tracking and monitoring system, in the containers that are used for the transport of the different parts of the vehicles, allowing complete traceability, from the supplier to the finished vehicle, of all process times in each phase, through the concept of SMART IRON, achieving the automatic detection of re-work, transfers, blows and incidents, to which each part has been subjected and set the responsibility for the possible defects that could compromise the quality of the final vehicle. This has made it possible to identify and discard parts that would cause a defect in the vehicle before being installed, significantly decreasing the number of units that are rejected in the final inspection, also achieving Predictive Maintenance of the container equipment itself, for a significant cost reduction, and a true integration of what has been achieved in internal logistics.
